From looking at current notices posted on university notice boards we have found 'Text books for sale' is the most common notice posted. Other common posts include Room/flats for rent, Events, Tutors, Groups, and general for sale items.
Taking this into account possible categories for our website could include,

These headings and sub headings will assist in page navigation and help to recover more valid search outcomes. All notices from university notice boards can easily be posted within these headings.

We are group of five third year design studies students at Otago University. For our Interaction Design project we are designing an online student notice board which will contain the information currently displayed on campus notice boards. By doing this we hope to make the process of posting and viewing messages faster, more convenient and more time efficient.
